eHealth. Child arthritis survey app. Pen and paper replaced by excitement.

Despite this modern age, medical centers are still often using pen and paper questionnaires to track down information on the burden of diseases. For children quite a difficult and boring exercise, that does not always reflect their feelings and experiences.

We were asked to look into the entire process from scratch, trying to make this more of a meaningful and simply better experience.

To make use of digital advantages, we’ve transformed the normal question-form to a rich illustrated and intuitive iPad app: answering questions by sliders and direct, clear data insights for their HCP’s.

The CE-marked, interactive iPad app contains a whole new digital world, designed specifically for kids with rheumatic symptoms.

The app playfully guides them through the process of answering questions on how they feel, making use of sliders and for example visually explaining the concept of pain thresholds, children no longer had troubles explaining the extent of their symptoms.
